CSA Rapid Scan
ID Program Introduced.

The Confederate Stamp Alliance Authentication Committee has instituted a simplified program whereby a scan of your Confederate stamp or cover can be submitted for a rapid identification analysis. This is an opportunity to have your questions quickly answered about the proper identification of your CSA philatelic item without having to go through the sometimes lengthy formal certification process. The cost is also substantially less. Click here for full details.

CSA Authentication Service
Waives Fees for Donations

The CSA Authentication Service maintains a reference collection of fake material, as well as genuine, which purpose is two fold: 1) it gets the dangerous material off the market and 2) it aids our experts in their future determinations.

A donation to the Authentication Service Reference Collection can also be of benefit to you in that the Confederate Stamp Alliance is an IRS recognized non-profit organization with status # 501(c)(3) and any donation thereto constitutes a tax deduction. As of April 10, 2005, any item submitted for authentication which is subsequently immediately donated to the Service, will have the authentication fee waived.

If you wish to donate material to the Service, contact Recording Secretary Trish Kaufmann, 10194 N. Old State Road, Lincoln, DE 19960 or e-mail her at trishkauf@comcast.net The Service seeks genuine, as well as fraudulent, material - particularly scarce postmarks, unusual shades or anything which may be used for comparison to submitted patients. This CSAAC Reference Collection is a good home for a faulty but scarce stamp variety or cover. More details on the Service and/or authentication applications are available by clicking here.
